Just one match postponement affected Darts for Windows Division Three, with the Northumberland v Pembrokeshire match called off.

Gloucestershire currently sit top of the table following a 21 – 15 win over mid-table Shropshire, leading 2nd place The Black Country by just one point. Gloucestershire took a convincing 12-6 lead overnight and despite a strong 5-1 with for Shropshire’s Women’s A, Gloucestershire’s Men’s A saw out the win, which also sees them sitting at the top of the Men’s A table.

James Hurrell (29.47) took the match award for Gloucestershire’s Men’s A, Wesley Cole for the Men’s B, whilst it was Maria Lock and Heather Grindle who best performed for the Women’s A and B teams respectively.

Shropshire’s match awards went the way of Simon Pritchard (A), Josh Pickett (B), Jenna-Louise Ball (A) and Kelly Haverson (B).

Salopian’s debut season sees them sat in 5th place after beating Breconshire by and impressive 24-12 scoreline. Salopian’s Men dominated the visitors, as they ran out 9-3 and 8-4 winners in the Men’s B and A matches.

Salopians’s Steph Clarke continued her good form with a fifth win from five and the highest average in the Women’s A, with Cally Jones producing the highest average in the Women’s B. Scott Dockerty (A) and Paul Rowley (B) hit the highest winning averages for Salopian’s Mens A and B team.

Breconshire’s match awards went to Stephen Davidson (A), Rob Price (B), Kaye Hales (A) and Louise Fox (B).

The final fixture of the weekend saw the Isle of Wight travel to The Wirral and despite a good start from the visitors which saw them lead 4-2 after the Women’s B matches, it was all the way of The Wirral from that point, with both Men’s sides winning 11-1 and running out 28-8 winners.

The Isle of Wight’s sole winners in the Men’s A and B teams were Jason Collins and Gary Crews, with IOW stalwart Brenda Dyer taking the match award for the Women’s A and Anne Llewellyn producing the highest average for the Women’s B.

Kim Holden continued her 100% win record for The Wirral and took the match award for the Women’s A and Ruth Green for the Women’s B. Bryn Suckley secured the Wirral’s highest average in the Men’s A, but performance of the Division Three came from Paul Barron (B) who produced a 30.06 for the home side.

Darts for Windows Division Three results: Salopian 24-12 Breconshire, Shropshire 15-21 Gloucestershire, Wirral 28-8 Isle of Wight, Northumberland P-P Pembrokeshire, Bye v Black Country
