Cambridgeshire’s Amanda Harwood played a starring role for Cambridgeshire, as they overcame visitors Oxfordshire last weekend to climb into fifth place in the Andy Wheeler Fisheries Championship, and close the gap in the hunt for promotion.
Harwood, a Lakeside debutent in 2022, produced the women’s performance of the weekend, with a 24.24 average in victory to set her county on the way to a 21-15 triumph.
She was ably supported by David Shaw and Karen Williams, despite valiant displays from Steve Dennett and Sean Holley for Oxfordshire.
Both counties are next in action on the 3rd and 4th February, as Cambridgeshire host the West Midlands while Derbyshire travel to Bicester to take on Oxfordshire.
