UKDA to support Social Media blackout

On 30/04/202116/05/2021
Morgan Barrell

The UKDA will unite to support the social media blackout over the Bank Holiday weekend as we stand against racism and online abuse.

We join partners, and a whole host of other sports organisations as well as media outlets in not posting across our social media channels from 15:00 on Friday the 30th April 2021, until 23:59 on Monday 3rd May 2021.

The time has come for the owners of these social media platforms to act, and deliver a safer environment for it’s users.

The UKDA Management team said “The UKDA will be standing shoulder to shoulder with the dart players and sportsmen across the world to support the campaign against racism and online abuse”.
