The County took an overall draw from the latest round of the UKDA Premiership Division.
Ladies B were off to a flyer with a 5-1 victory, wins from Courtney Hine, Chloe McKivett, Angela Jones, Nina Bolt and a LOM from Hannah Meek with a 21.17.
This was a great springboard for the Mens B and it started like it can with Nigel Heydon (pictured) hitting the highest average of the Weekend with a 30.25 in a tough battle with his opponent that he won 4-3, other wins came from Ian McFarlane, Karl Reynolds, Mark Strong, Martin Tonks, Dave Hill and Mark Martin.
With a 12-6 overnight lead we were looking at a good victory, this was followed by a great 4-2 win for Ladies A with wins from Natalie Gilbert, Sue Gulliver, Donna Pinch and a LOM from Tammy Montgomery 23.66.
So now a lead of 16-8 with a Mens A to come was great news for us all, this is where the wheels fell off as The Cheshire Mens took the Bears apart, very much a case of missed doubles in many games we suffered a severe 10-2 loss with Gareth Braham and Chris Wickenden on last to gain us the draw. Extremely tough to take for all but when the roller coaster starts its a battle to halt it.
We now look forward to a home fixture versus Cornwall on 10/11th December.
